Traffic Control Products, Inc. (TCP)  is scheduled to begin work on March 9, 2023, weather permitting, placing new pavement markings on certain streets within the City of Clinton. This work will likely cause minor delays during the times that TCP is installing the traffic striping, however, TCP should have adequate advance warning signage and personnel in place during the times of work.

Below is a listing of the streets and the anticipated order in which they will be striped:

  • St. Thomas Parkway – West Northside Drive to North Frontage Road
  • North Frontage Road – Begin State Maintenance to End State Maintenance
  • Clinton Industrial Park – North Frontage Road to Northside Drive
  • Pinehaven Drive – Berry Drive to Kickapoo Road
  • Monroe Street – East Leake Street to Northside Drive
  • Neal Street – Northside Drive to Monroe Street
  • Sproles Street – Monroe Street to Clinton Parkway
  • Clinton Blvd – E. College Street to East City Limits
  • Hampstead Boulevard – Highway 80 to New Hampstead Blvd

Straight-line work (centerline and edge striping) is to begin on March 9, 2023. This work is anticipated to take approximately 3 days, weather permitting.

Detail/Legend striping will be accomplished after the straight-line work has been completed.  It is anticipated that this work will be started immediately after the straight-line work, however, if there is a delay in this work the contractor will notify the city of the anticipated length of delay and when work will begin again.
