Springridge Road Closure

A Jackson waterline break on Monday afternoon has closed down a portion of Springridge Rd at Wildwood Baptist Church. The city of Jackson was notified and responded to repair the break. In the process, the integrity of the road, which is the property of Clinton, became a concern. With safety in mind, city officials decided to close both the southbound and northbound lanes until the city engineers could be sure that the cavity caused by the waterline break and the road are both repaired and ready for travel. Currently, Jackson is working to repair the area and the traffic lanes will remain closed through the weekend of November 18th through November 20th. The city of Clinton is evaluating the site on a day-to-day basis and will reopen Springridge Rd as soon as conditions are safe for passengers.
