Flag football leagues open for registration

Flag football season is about to begin for community children who would like to participate in the Clinton Parks and Recreation Department’s football leagues. Ages 5 through 12 can participate in the NFL Flag league. Flag football season will run from September 13 – the end of October.

The Youth Flag league is an official NFL Flag-sponsored league. Age is determined as of August 1, 2021, and divisions will be 5- and 6-year-old, 7 - 9-year-old, 10 – 12-year-old. The cost per player is $55 for 5-6 and 7-9 age groups. $65 for 10-12 age group. Registration includes an NFL flag jersey.

All registrants must provide birth certificate for proof of age.

Registration deadline is August 20, 2021.

Parents and fans will be expected to maintain a spirit of positive sportsmanship to players, coaches, fans and referees.
