Filmed in Clinton - You Can Never Go Home premiers March 4

Clinton, Miss. (March 1, 2022) – Clinton, Mississippi is the scene location for the film You Can Never Go Home Again. The movie premieres Friday, March 4 at 7 PM on Lifetime Movie Network.

Production agencies, actors and actresses enjoyed filming, dining and staying in Clinton during the filming of the movie. In early 2021, the crew started filming at different locations throughout Clinton.

“Having a movie filmed in our town creates a unique economic boost,” said Amanda Jones, Director of Communications and Tourism, City of Clinton. “Our citizens can enjoy being a part of each film. It is also a great learning tool for students interested in production.”

The movie stars Maria Breese, Omar Gooding, Jackie Moore and Al Sapienza. It is based on a character named Izzy. She and her family move back to her husband’s hometown, where their daughter’s teacher, Emma develops an unhealthy obsession with Izzy’s husband. The teacher’s infatuation will inhibit her from thinking logically and she will stop at nothing until she gets what she desires. The obsession turns deadly as Emma forces Izzy to fight back or lose her family forever. 

“I have produced films all over the world with over 90 films under my belt,” said Harel Goldstein, Executive Producer. “Filming in Clinton was one of the best experiences I have ever had.”
