City of Clinton Announces Distribution of Infrared Thermometers to Businesses
The City of Clinton has been distributing infrared thermometers it has secured for small businesses, restaurants, barbershops/salons and other businesses to support safe business activities amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Gabriel Prado, Director of Economic Development for the City of Clinton procured the thermometers from the State of Mississippi.
Representatives from Mayor Phil Fisher’s office have been delivering the infrared thermometers to businesses operating in the City. Businesses do not need to contact the Mayor’s office to reserve their thermometer. Priority will be given to retail, restaurants, daycares, churches, barbershops, salons, and other high traffic businesses prior to distribution to the entire business community. Each business will receive one thermometer.
Businesses that previously indicated that they did not desire a thermometer may contact Mayor Fisher's office at 601-925-6103 to reserve their thermometer.
“Thanks to the diligence of Gabriel Prado, we were able to secure these infrared thermometers for our businesses because having adequate screening measures is an important step in keeping people safe,” Mayor Fisher stated.
This distribution will continue while supplies last.
